.CPOGG-J Submission Guidelines
Please submit works via email to editor@cpogg.org. No paper copies are accepted. Be sure to include the following:

  • A cover letter containing your name, contact information, institutional affiliation, and submission’s word count.
  • An abstract (up to 200 words).
  • A biographical sketch (no longer than 100 words)
  • Your submission, including all endnotes (consecutively numbered)

To ensure a rigorous and unbiased review process, send two versions of your submission, one with your full name and afiliation on the title page, the other without a name and free of all self-references.

A typical issue will comprise four or five high-quality articles (up to 7000 words) and approximately three shorter policy statements, comments, or reviews (of about 1000-2000 words). Although CPOGG-J does not mandate strict minimum and maximum word counts, please respect these averages.

Submissions should follow The Chicago Manual of Style (15th ed.) and Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (10th ed.). Please note that although this is an international journal, submissions must follow American spelling and punctuation standards.

All manuscripts accepted for publication become the property of the Journal.

Please address all questions regarding the submission process to Katherine Tobin, KT@cpogg.org
